Star Hunters 2019, Greece, Athens

An urban game to recreate the sky

Remember to look up at the stars and not down at your feet. Try to make sense of what you see and wonder about what makes the universe exists. Be curious and however difficult life may seem, there is always something you can do and succeed at.

Start hunters is an interactive urban game that invites the participants to hunt fallen stars from the sky and rebuild the sky. Two teams compete to rebuild the sky and show to the city their wishes for the future. The game has three main phases. In the first one, the hunters should look for fallen starts in the city. In the second phase, the starts should be fished back into the sky using fishing rods. Finally, the participants can rebuild the sky using the stars that they have just fished. The team that completes the sky first gets to show their wishes for the city. The game is a playful interaction that invites people to interact with strangers.
